Our local decided that the branch winner would be the Carrion Crow http://www.pubsgalore.co.uk/pubs/12933/ (not Carrion as it says on the list).

I was there on Friday. It's not the best pub in Oldham, nevermind the branch area.

It beat The Baum by 1 vote and I'm told that some of the people who voted for it had never even been.

Too much politics in the local branch I believe.

PS I don't really want my local in the hat again really as it's still a pain on Friday & Saturday from winning the 2012 national award.

After a quick look i think ive done 40,but that is over 30 years or so visiting pubs,
I never go out of my way to do a top real ale pub,but if i bump into one then i am happy doing it.

I have done 37 that I know for sure, and would need to check properly for some of the others. Comes with the caravanning here there and all over.

23, a few of them made me go..... eh???

It's also missing our Branch's POTY and the list is riddled with typo's - very unprofessional

I've done 24, although it seems that certain regions, such as Lancashire, are missing.

I can tick off 30,with a further two as possible but almost too long ago to recollect.

There are some rum selections in there though...............
