I'm not too fussed if the next meet-up is North, South, East, West or anywhere in-between, but if it is to be down South, I'd be happy with any of these suggestions, although I think we should save Bristol for a landmark meet-up, like the 10th Anniversary of Pubs Galore or something similar.

I'd also quite like to do Bath - not sure how easy that is to reach on the trains.

It's on the main line out of London down to the Bristol and the South West. Otherwise you'd need to change somewhere, I guess maybe Reading or Bristol. The latter is only about 15 minutes from Bath.

The station is also quite central to all the pubs.

All depends how you want to measure it.

The original version of Regulars Reunited, the forerunner to Pubs Galore that I created (and was crap and didn't really work properly) was launched on May 22nd 2003.

Later that year on October 1st we registered pubsgalore.co.uk and Conrad set about making a version of the site that actually worked properly and audited stuff.

On January 28th 2004 we had our first audited review, which was of the Hollingwood Hotel by Alan Swain.

At some stage during that year we officially changed the name from Regulars Reunited to Pubs Galore.

Bristol it is then.... 10 years of a functioning Pubs Galore!

Or we could go to Chesterfield to visit the first reviewed Pubs Galore pub?

    It doesn't look very good...

...and the review is pretty awful too.

And Alan Swain was so dismayed that he never reviewed another pub again!

To kickstart the discussion again I would have a personal preferrence towards Rugby or Derby , as these are two towns I haven't been to for many a moon..
And falling into that category as well would be Coventry, which I've been meaning to get back to for a long while, although like Northampton, where I actually found the Shoe museum much more exciting than some of the pubs, I'm not sure it hits the 10 interesting pubs quota..
