Default Beer for the slug trap

As with most horticulturalists, we have an ongoing battle with the slug. Beer traps are an efficient and sustainable alternative to blue pellets. We usually use tinned crap from the supermarket order-they're not having any of my private supply! Any nominations for the mollusc room 101?
I'll kick off with the Fosters that's gracing the nursery as we speak.

I cant find any Double Diamond which used to work wonders in the slug world, so it will have to be Greedy King IPA.

Surely John Smith's Smooth would fit the bill, not sure what effect the widget would have on our slimy brethren.

Bombardier can be a very good beer when it's well kept. The problem, as with Doom Bar, is that it is very often the token real ale in many pubs that serve mainly fizz, thus it is very often badly kept and indifferently served, and given the option I tend to avoid it. But when it's good, it can be very good indeed. If you don't believe me, just step off the train at Derby and take a short walk to the Station Inn. You'll be pleasantly surprised. Take your slugs with you, they might like it too.

Me and the missus used beer baited slug traps when we were students. Irwins Bitter from Lidl was the most successful!
