    Trendy of Tunbridge Wells:
Fuggles Beer Cafe-4 real ales, lots of fizz, interesting spirits if you like that sort of thing.
Redwillow-Wreckless 4.8abv. New worldly pale ale. Melons, not too extreme.
Tonbridge-Coppernob 3.8abv Old school, old favourite.
On reflection, my BOTW is Redwillow Wreckless

Another good week and a few new pubs in both Aylesbury and on the PuG London crawl.

    Fullers -- Bengal Lancer (4PT)
    Fullers -- London Pride
    Chiltern -- Foxtrot
    Chiltern -- Beechwood Bitter
    Vale -- Gravitas
    Aylesbury Brewhouse --Hei Tiki
    Lymestone -- Stone the Crows
    Marstons -- Elbow's Charge
London Fields -- Shoreditch Triange IPA
Jo C's -- Old Bustard Bitter
    Purity -- Saddleback
    Gadds -- Seasider

Some very respectable brews among that lot but BOTW goes to London Fields Shoreditch Triangle IPA just top draw and well kept in Williams Ale and Cider House.Second time in recent weeks that this IPA has won, getting close to the a&h award.

Next week looking sparse ,might have to divert after helping out at the Excel Centre over the weekend.

    Junction 5, M3 , well fairly close.

Some very good and interesting beers this week thanks mostly to the PUG London excursion Yesterday.
    Loddon - Ferryman's Gold
    Darkstar- Hophead
    Darkstar- American Pale Ale
    Darkstar - Sunburst (bottle)
    Robinsons - Hannibal's Nectar
    Whitehorse - Scourers Brew
Scottish Borders Brewery - Wild Harvest (Brewed with Sea Buckthorn)
    Broughton - Dark Dunter
    Jo C's Norfolk - Kiwi
London Fields - Shorditch Triangle IPA
    London Fields - Pale Ale
    Wild Beer - English Root
    Hop Stuff - Fuselier
    Brewdog - Dead Pony Club
Siren Craft Brew - Jack Tarr
    Siren Craft Brew - Soundwave
    Beavertown - Benzerra
    Fullers - Bengal Lancer
Arbour - Why Kick A Moo Cow
    Pitfield - Eco Warrior
    Harbour - Oatmeal Stout

Some fantastic and interesting beers there and the London Fields Shoreditch Triangle was fantastic, but one beer was even better than that and BOTW is Siren Craft Brew Soundwave ,a 5.6% "west coast" IPA taken in the very good Fox and also according to my notes the 14'th pub of the day The Tap RoomBut thats all a bit hazy.

Sadly, my list doesn't come anywhere near those above but I enjoyed most of them:

    Fuller Bengal Lancer, Pride
    Abbot Reserve
    Chilterns Beechwood Bitter
    Vale Gravitas
    Aylesbury Brewhouse Company Hei Tikki
    Oakham Bishops Farewell

The Abbot Reserve was filth and will be making it into the BABOTW thread. BOTW Vale Gravitas. 4.8%, pale and interesting.

A smaller list due to a tube strike keeping me on home turf.

    Brodie's Shoreditch Sunshine 3.9%
    Brentwood Best 4.0%
    Hopcraft Sucker Punch 4.3%
East London Brewing Company Nightwatchman 4.5%
    Clouded Minds Hazelnutter 4.5%
    Banks's California Session IPA 4.8%
By The Horns Diamond Geezer 4.9%
    Brodie's Chinook Black Coffee 6.0%
    Brodie's Kentish Town Brown 6.2%
    Portobello Apache IPA 7.0%
    Mikkeller Black 18 (Keykeg) 18.0%

The three contenders are the Apache IPA, the California Session IPA and the Shoreditch Sunshine.
The winner is the cooking beer Brodie's Shoreditch Sunshine (£2. 50). I tried this when I saw what superb condition it was coming up in at the Leyton King William IV. I was told that it has a new recipe. It's a typical Brodie's beer, very pale with a bucket load of hops. It tasted fantastic!

Fairly quiet week for me, but several of those sampled were in superb nick.

    Wentworth - WPA.
    Liverpool Organic - Cascade.
    Acorn - Gorlovka.*
    Rat - White Rat.*
    Leeds - Pale.
    Clarks - Trench.
    Five Towns - HB.*
    Bobs - Chardonnayle.
    Five Towns - Baby Blue.

The Baby Blue was absolutely fresh as a daisy. A wonderful aromatic blonde ale, with plenty of grapefruit and tropical fruit on the nose and palate. Easily passed the three pint test.
