    Trendy of Tunbridge Wells:
Fuggles Beer Cafe-4 real ales, lots of fizz, interesting spirits if you like that sort of thing.
Redwillow-Wreckless 4.8abv. New worldly pale ale. Melons, not too extreme.
Tonbridge-Coppernob 3.8abv Old school, old favourite.
On reflection, my BOTW is Redwillow Wreckless

Another good week and a few new pubs in both Aylesbury and on the PuG London crawl.

    Fullers -- Bengal Lancer (4PT)
    Fullers -- London Pride
    Chiltern -- Foxtrot
    Chiltern -- Beechwood Bitter
    Vale -- Gravitas
    Aylesbury Brewhouse --Hei Tiki
    Lymestone -- Stone the Crows
    Marstons -- Elbow's Charge
London Fields -- Shoreditch Triange IPA
Jo C's -- Old Bustard Bitter
    Purity -- Saddleback
    Gadds -- Seasider

Some very respectable brews among that lot but BOTW goes to London Fields Shoreditch Triangle IPA just top draw and well kept in Williams Ale and Cider House.Second time in recent weeks that this IPA has won, getting close to the a&h award.

Next week looking sparse ,might have to divert after helping out at the Excel Centre over the weekend.

Some very good and interesting beers this week thanks mostly to the PUG London excursion Yesterday.
    Loddon - Ferryman's Gold
    Darkstar- Hophead
    Darkstar- American Pale Ale
    Darkstar - Sunburst (bottle)
    Robinsons - Hannibal's Nectar
    Whitehorse - Scourers Brew
Scottish Borders Brewery - Wild Harvest (Brewed with Sea Buckthorn)
    Broughton - Dark Dunter

London Fields - Shorditch Triangle IPA
    London Fields - Pale Ale
    Wild Beer - English Root
    Hop Stuff - Fuselier

    Siren Craft Brew - Soundwave
    Beavertown - Benzerra
    Fullers - Bengal Lancer
Arbour - Why Kick A Moo Cow
    Pitfield - Eco Warrior
    Harbour - Oatmeal Stout

Some fantastic and interesting beers there and the London Fields Shoreditch Triangle was fantastic, but one beer was even better than that and BOTW is Siren Craft Brew Soundwave ,a 5.6% "west coast" IPA taken in the very good Fox and also according to my notes the 14'th pub of the day The Tap RoomBut thats all a bit hazy.

Sadly, my list doesn't come anywhere near those above but I enjoyed most of them:

    Fuller Bengal Lancer, Pride
    Abbot Reserve
    Chilterns Beechwood Bitter
    Vale Gravitas
    Aylesbury Brewhouse Company Hei Tikki
    Oakham Bishops Farewell

The Abbot Reserve was filth and will be making it into the BABOTW thread. BOTW Vale Gravitas. 4.8%, pale and interesting.

Some good stuff in Norwich, including Yakima Gold and Fat Cat Marmalade at the Fat Cat but, having missed two buses due to (strike) crowding on Thursday, I treated myself to a pint of Kernel IPA at the Holborn Whippet. When I say treat, I mean it - it came in at a flat fiver!!

Despite lots of decent beers at Fleetwood Beer Festival the BOTW is still going to come from The Baum.

I decided to try a Hawkshead Dry Stone Stout after I'd had a couple of light & hoppy beers, just for a change.

I've always liked the beer, but it was on superb form and one turned into three. Excellent.
