Well I'm not in the Premiership but have drifted up to 150 new pubs visited so far this year with a couple of new ticks in Leicester and Market Harborough.Bristol should boost the total but on very familiar boating territory until after Christmas so will fall well short of previous years totals.

    Must try harder.

Only eight new ones for me Friday - I'd already done the Seven Stars, Cornubia and Kings Head - they bring me to 180 for the year. With a visit to Brighton and Lewes - not to mention Burton - coming up soon, I should reach the 200 mark this year.

Bournemouth was a pretty ropey place for pubs but a ten minute train ride to Poole found plenty of good 'uns. I have now 'done a Lara' as my cricket-loving partner-in-crime describes it and hit 501.
