204 At the moment but will be going to Scotland on Friday, but not expecting a big tally as the Hotel has a drinks package and is a bit out of the way,although there is a trip to Callander included.
A broken dental plate meant we had to go to Darlington yesterday to get it fixed, so we did a wander round some Darlington pubs instead of the planned crawl round Barnard Castle, but we found a gem in the Half Moon there. Walked in and was looking at 7 real ales. Mithril, Crafty Pint, Hop Studio, Sky's Edge, Brass Castle, Yard of Ale and Hill Island. Couldn't believe I had found an un reviewed pub with such a lot of ales on. He has a bottle shop in there too, and does not sell lager - not the standard ones anyway. Think it was called Scorpion, and there was real cider on too. He brews Crafty Pint, although some of his recipes are done at Just a Minute brewery for him at the moment.
Will get the reviews sorted out.

After Hartlepool and Darlington I am now on 53. Been in loads more pubs but as no real ale, I had no drink, and although I have put a line or two as a review on them, I don't count them unless I drink in them.

In number of pubs, probably. In number of league points, probably not.

My pick from Saturday was the Craven , simple small one-room pub with great beer line up, excellent condition, knowledgeable landlord (who knew brewers names as well as breweries). Thanks to whoever posted it is a potm - certainly my potd despite Bartons Arms having a beer festival on.
Another new pub which would certainly not be on-list in other circumstances was Witton Arms, post-match. Didn't realise there were home/away sections and ended up in 'wrong' side before spotting manc mate who said, don't worry I'll get 'em in -I've been watching Peaky Blinders. "Aroight luv, ken oi hev a point o yer loorger ploise.." hahaha...
Btw, morris dancers out in force at Brewdog! What's that all about? A clash of cultures there, methinks.
8 new in SW London yesterday brings me up to 111. Best pub of the day was The Masons Arms.

Went to Failsworth yesterday and collected 10 new pubs.
8 of them unreviewed and 2 selling real ale where I wasn't expecting any.
Now on 177.

I did another micro pub in Arnold on Thursday bringing my new pubs done for the year up to 329.
I am still thinking of doing all of the pubs in Atherstone in the near future,i will wait for a nice sunny or dry day to do it.
