New pubs visited 2014

I had planned a pub crawl in Biddulph and area for yesterday but after watching the weather forcast on the late evening news i decided to change my plans quickly

with the help of my wife who was looking at Pubs Galore on her laptop,i quickly wrote down 25 pubs to do in Rugby,never been to the town before so i had'nt the faintest idea where i was going,i found a Spoons to start off then luckily a WH Smiths with a map to look at the crawl went very well.

I managed to do 21 new pubs all but 3 sold real ale,a great day out in a nice town,this brings my new pubs done for the year up to 208.

I had a great day out in London yesterday in the Kennington and Lambeth areas,this netted me another 22 new pubs,this brings my new pubs done for the year up to 230.

Same as Al 230 new ones as of yesterday but yesterday was 3 revisits so hopefully get some more new ones this week.

Hi Al,

I am of a similar mindset to you - though not in the same league !! I like to go in as many pubs as possible and I am doing Rugby this Saturday. Could you give me a list of the pubs you visited ? Any that are closed that I can discount before i go ?

I will be with my old man and my brother so we will drink mainly pints - hope to do at least a dozen, maybe 15 !!

£15 return, a network card would have worked out cheaper but would have had to wait another hour for it to kick in so for the sake of three quid £15.00 was near enough.

236 now after Weston and Brean the last couple of nights. Off to Worcester beer festival on Saturday so will try and do some more of the ones you recommended/went to on the meet that I didn't do last time I was in Worcester.
