New pubs visited 2014

Been round a lot of Falmouth pubs that had no reviews. Interesting day. Will get round to writing them up today or tomorrow.

18 new pubs in Swansea and Bristol - a good weekend apart from the result !

Added 3 new pubs in Balsall Common and Meriden so now on 86

Picked up a few stragglers from the local area so now on to 90

I did another 7 new pubs in Mansfield yesterday,not easy i have already done well over 50 pubs in the town,so lots of walking.

This brings my new pubs done for the year up to 187.

I had planned a pub crawl in Biddulph and area for yesterday but after watching the weather forcast on the late evening news i decided to change my plans quickly

with the help of my wife who was looking at Pubs Galore on her laptop,i quickly wrote down 25 pubs to do in Rugby,never been to the town before so i had'nt the faintest idea where i was going,i found a Spoons to start off then luckily a WH Smiths with a map to look at the crawl went very well.

I managed to do 21 new pubs all but 3 sold real ale,a great day out in a nice town,this brings my new pubs done for the year up to 208.

Impressive number of pubs Al ,Its shame you couldn't make the PUG meet up last month ,we had a good time.

I did think about going on the Pubs Galore tour round Rugby,but as usuall money problems at the time made it not possible,i also think i may not fit in with everbody if i want to do 20 plus pubs and drink halfs quickly while the Pubs Galore people drink pints.

I did have a drink with Will aka Sheffield Hatter in April in Sheffield towards the end of one of my large pub crawls,he was really nice and drank halfs quickly and also showed me some bars i had not listed,this was an enjoyable drink with a fellow Pubs Galore contributor.

I wiil see where the next crawl happens to be but still unsure about it at the mo.
