7 in Brighton plus one in Southsea and The Flowerpots in Cheriton this weekend have me up to 40 now for the year, so moving through the gears. I don't think I'll hit the 1,000 by Easter as hoped but I shouldn't be long especially as the weather and therefore the inclination are improving.
I'd be on more but I generally drink pints unless the beer choice is mainstream or boring.
Ok, maybe just for one......................
8 new pubs in an area of Oldham that I've never visited before (and probably won't again) brings me up to 41.

On a mere 45 at the moment but will be stepping up a gear in the next few months starting with Uttoxeter and Cheadle tomorrow
Five new ones in Halifax on Saturday brings my total at the end of March to 79 - that's one more than at the same time last year.

As March comes to an end my tally is still 0 new pubs visited and 0 revisits.
One plus is that I have just finished my last piece of coursework. I think that a few battle cruisers may be visited during the next month before my impending exams!

We are on 9 new pubs for the end of March. Very slow start this year.

Using my review count as a rough ready reckoner,45 new pubs visied in the first quarter which is very respectable for me.
The Grand Union into Birmingham via Knowle will net a few more,but it wont be until after Stalybridge that the new pub count will start to rise in the second quarter.I will be lucky to add 25 to the total by the end of June. July however could be a monster on both the boating and pub front.

My 365 challenge is well on track, 122 new pubs (excl revisits) so far. In date terms, 122 equates to May 1st so well ahead of schedule! Hopefully bag a few stragglers in Windsor this evening...

After a bit of digging through my old Chesterfield photo's i now know that i had already done the Crown and Anchor way back on the 15th of January 1988 so the Stonegravels pub that i went in is not a new one for me.Originally Posted by Al 10000
