A network railcard means I can get a zones 1-6 ticket from Reading without too much trouble, so happy going East.
Don't you need a boat in Reading at the moment?
Alcohol doesn't solve problems .... but then again, neither does milk.
Feb08 looking unlikely for me, depending on ticket for Norwich...
Okay 3 definites so the East end it is. The problem with the east is that its a vast area so where are we going to visit .Will we meet up at Liverpool St station as there are loads of buses that cover the east of London. What do you think Moby and Quinno?
I have done a bit of Hackney and Bethnal Green area which I like, but gets a bit sketchy further out, are the better pubs not a bit far and few between the further out you go? Have done the likes of The King William1V ( didn't particularly enjoy the nearby Drum), Eleanor arms, The Grapes, all of which I enjoyed but did involve a fair bit of travelling. Dont mind trying a few new pubs but not at the expense of good beer. I am happy to go with your thoughts and recommendations though.

You lads might want to consider a rail ale crawl on the North London Overground line I posted a while ago.

I made a mistake in the text and wrote Haggerston instead of Homerton, where I still think there is no decent pub.Since posting the crawl Canonbury Station now has The Snooty Fox closeby.
If you are starting at Liverpool Street you could always walk up to Shoreditch High Street station, get on the northbound Overground there and tick off Howl at the Moon near Hoxton and Duke's Brew &Que near Haggerston station , before changing onto the North London Line at Canonbury.
Happy hunting !
