    Default youtube

    Any recommendations?
I was told quite some time ago to look up Colin Rudd, when his 'Shaun Wright-Phillips please come home' song was still topical, and I looked at a bit of his other stuff - quite emotive & nostalgic. The guy is clearly Wildean and mad about Tolkein. And I notice one recording is from the famous Stalybridge Buffet Bar.

I'm obviously biased, but love the att'd collection of Georgi Kinkladze; almost certainly the most skillful player I've seen live

    Thanks Kinky.

I've seen George Best play; in the same forward line as Dennis Law. In one game I saw they shared 5 goals between them. 'nuff said!

It's possible I saw Best when I was too young to appreciate such matters, but I've never seen him dribble as well as Kinkladze. When he died, the only clips they came up with were that lob and another fairly unremarkable goal. Unimpressed, sorry.

Law once scored six(!) for us before the game was abandoned, at 6-2, due to rain. He also scored in the rearranged tie which City, typically, managed to lose!

I saw him play just the once - for Fulham against Burnley in October '77 shortly before he left for LA Aztecs. Fulham won 4-1 and Best scored the third. I believe it was the last goal he ever scored in English football.

My favourite YouTube video has nothing to do with football - don't watch this while eating.
