    Default Who remembers outside toilets.

When I first started drinking a lot of pubs still had outside lavatories and some had no lady's facility's at all unless the landlord let the woman use the staff one as most did. Is there still any pubs left with a outside bogs. Yes amazing too the younger readers even when I was young we still had a outside lav and a tin bath until the late 60s at home.

There is a pub in Brighton with an outside toilet. Sign above it has "used beer department" if I remember it right.

I've been in lots of pubs with outside toilets, including the much loved Duke of Hamilton! My granddad had an outside toilet until the early 80s!

The gents here,The Cover Bridge Inn, my all time favourite, are outside,as are those here The Red Lion, another excellent pub. I say, keep the bogs outside!

I think the Rake Bar, Borough Market,s toilets could be classed as outside.

    The Trotter Inn

    Cotham Porter Stores

    The Crown Inn

    Miners Rest

To name a few I'm aware of after recent visits. Blackthorn will be along soon to add some more.

By outside I assume you mean not within the actual building without going outside to get to them and they are covered and not equating to finding the closest tree?

A few I remember, although I haven't been to some of these for years

    The Tudor Rose
    White Horse

This had them moved inside causing a great furore among the customers, after all it's a disgusting thing to do inside a house or pub
    The Newport Inn

This one now has them in the former pig sty across what used to be the farm yard, I can't remember what we did before
    Royal Oak

this one had bats nesting in the roof IIRC
    Cuckoo Inn

This one has inside toilets, but the ancient monument outside is far nicer
    The Crown Hotel

I've seen quite a few this year - ones that spring to mind include:

    The Plough
    The Railway Inn
    The Woodman Inn
    Black Horse
    Jolly Woodman

    ...and a few others:

    The Sair
    Ye Olde Mitre
    The Poole Arms
    Duke Of Wellington
