My pub of the month goes to The Horseshoe Inn in Shipston on Stour.
A really nice lively pub with a good atmosphere.
The Plash Inn for me.
Only been in one pub all month (but lots of times) so my POTW is the Waggon And Horses, Hope to get a bit of variety in June with a couple of excursions in the pipeline.

Having visited three pubs at the start of the month that were NOT Spoons I feel I should nominate the one that is clearly the best of the three and that is The Cock in Hackney.
It's a small basic pub so is probably best visited at Lunchtime rather than an evening. It has sixteen handpumps and the Howling Hops brewery downstairs. Eight pumps are devoted to beer and on my visit five of these were Howling Hops and one from the new Five Points brewery nearby. The other eight pumps are devoted to interesting looking ciders. If we ever get some hot weather then I will go there to investigate the ciders.
One great aspect of this place is that I don't recall seeing a single product from ANY of the Global Abominations. All the lager and keg offerings seemed to come from Camden Town Brewery and others.
Had a great session in The Harp at the end of the month and the excellent ale line up would have made it an obvious choice for POTM had it not been for a trip to The Royal Oak,Ockbrook which ticked all the boxes for a POTM.Not far from Derby,a bit of a gem.

For me this month its going to be Old Fighting Cocks its getting better all the time , i seem to spend more time in here than the Station these days .
Theres a Man with a Mullet going Mad with a Mallet in Millets !
A limited choice but The George and Dragon in Lichfield gets it this month for it's classic old style boozerness (is that a word?) despite beer being limited to the Marstons range.
