    No way i can make the Friday but i will probally be able to make Saturday if the train prices come down , well over £40 at the moment

    If it's Reading then I would prefer the Saturday, if it's Leeds then either day suits.

    Getting a Saturday off is just as hard for me as getting a Friday off is for most others, it seems, but I'm happy to join in if that's the preferred date. So are we on for Saturday 13th July? Those of us coming from t'north need to know fairly soon in order to book favourably priced train tickets!

    You can sometimes get cheaper fares by breaking the journey at Birmingham, rather than booking a through ticket.
