You have the umbrella in the air Quinno, but just to say I think the Eldon may be closed at the estimated time you'll be in that area. Doesn't she still shut afternoons, even on Saturday?
I hope to be over and will msg in to pick up the trail if I miss the off, but I'm not a deffo so, if not, have a TOP day...!
    (only an hour in Nags?)

A good reminder that I need to check the opening times but these days I think the Eldon is an interesting curio rather than the 'should-visit' it was a few years ago so if it's shut then never mind...

If anyone wants my mobile number do drop me a PM ASAP.

Haven't really been following the thread very closely but I'm in. I have a gig in Surbiton in the evening and then a music festival in Guildford the next day so will need to be a bit more selective about the day's events and I'll probably cut out some of the bus ride pubs but we'll see how it goes. Will aim for the Alehouse midday after my customary Spoons brekky.

Don't take 'bus ride' too literally. None are more than 15 minute's walk. You should definitely come to the Fox & Hounds!

Not really done any homework yet - it's all rather crept up on me! Must pull my finger out.

I did wonder where you're name was on the list - I just assumed you'd show up on the day!

You don't need to get off, the train just has to call at the "split" station.

Sorry, yes - it was supposed to say 'without getting off the train'!
