The above headline was the subject of an e-mail today from TripAdvisor, and which might have made me tremendously proud - since the company claims "44 million marketable members, and over 100 million reviews and opinions" - were it not for the fact that I've only ever submitted eight reviews on that site!

Makes you wonder how many one-post reviewers they have got. 50%? 60%? 70%?

Whilst impossible to say exactly (too many variables) it would seem that 85%+ of their posters are one-offs if your 8 reviews/top 4% is typical of that data section. Either that, or your reviews are actually popular due to not reading like something off 'From the Message Boards' in Private Eye.
