Default Pub Of The Month - February 2013

As it won pub of the year I really should vote for my local The Baum, but I'm not going to, just in case it persuades more bloody tourists to visit.

My POTM is Shakespeares in Sheffield.

It's become one of our regular haunts whenever we're in the city.

Some good 'uns this month, but I'll go for the Lamb and Lion in York: convivial with depth. The Bells, the Bells.

Agreed - and there will be another one to add to the list soon, as a new Antic pub, The Effra Social, opens on Thursday.

Mine is a traditional Dales pub at (almost) the end of Nidderdale, money kept in a drawer, no credit cards etc taken and just local beers but just a splendid pub

    The Crown Hotel

My pub of the month goes to The Terrace Inn in the Fenton area of Stoke on Trent, this is a really nice unaltered pub.
