What difficulties in the trade? York is a city that is rammed with tourists that provide a captive market for the rip-off merchants as is the case in Central London. I've been to York several times but have no desire to return there. There are plenty of places in the Midlands and North more worthy of attention than York.That’s an above-inflation rise of four per cent in two years, suggesting the freeze on beer duty has been countered by continuing difficulties in the trade. As a comparison, the average keg pint is £3.41.
