    Shops & restaurants being converted to pubs, and no change of use required? Does CAMRA have a stance on this, I wonder?

    Off to York for the beer festival next month. Staying for 5 nights, so will have a good wander round some of the newer bars around there, if I can drag myself away from the old favourites. Beer, breweries and bars seem to get in the news a lot there at the moment.
    Alcohol doesn't solve problems .... but then again, neither does milk.

    Hmm, I was just thinking where shall I go this weekend, it was going to be the York beer census on Saturday but that got cancelled, still that's no reason not to go
