I read the blurb below the video, which talks about a fundraising that didn't hit target and no designs on Fiesta Latina.I assume the video was to do with the fundraising.

    Default 2020 camra agm

I got an email from CAMRA today saying that next years AGM is here. I've never been to one and won't be starting now but I'm sure some will welcome an excuse to visit the City.

Uncentral as usual, it's at the university, at least there's a beer festival for members on site and being run by the same people as York beer festival so that should be ok. I'll go if there are some contentious motions otherwise it's rather drab.

That's the impression I've always had but without the qualification! Is the festival open while the AGM is in progress?? If the CAMRA discourse is anything to go by it must be a colossal bore.

Try not to use that expression out loud. There's a danger of being misunderstood.

The phrase you're looking for is "plenary session". No risk of an accidental innuendo there. (At least, I hope not.)

Little danger of misunderstandings as anyone who knows CAMRA will know how the members discharge these things.

I need no excuse to visit York - I'll be there (although how long I spend in the AGM / Members Weekend is a different matter...).
