Hi all,
Off to Bradford for the match next Tuesday night. Not sure how long I'll have before the match but should be able to take a few pubs in.
Any tips ??
Cheers,
Del.

On a recent visit to Bradford (not fully written up yet, unfortunately), I enjoyed the following: Monty's, The Sparrow, The Corn Dolly, The Fighting Cock, Haigy's and The Shoulder Of Mutton.
Unfortunately, the New Beehive and the Castle were both major disappointments (although I might have caught both on a bad day) and the Boy & Barrel is just rather sad.
Of the two 'spoons, the Sir Titus Salt is more interesting than the Turls Green.
Cheers mate I shall give some of them a try. If all goes to plan we should have 2 or 3 hours to kill.

I've reviewed most of the pubs suggested by rp in the last 12 months.
I'd also add City Vaults
A pub is for life not just for Christmas
Looks like I am meeting a mate in the Royal Oak - The Royal Oak - A bit out of the centre but there are a few pubs nearby.

It might be a little too far but if you fancy a walk down the hill into Idle Symposium Ale and Wine Bar should be a good bet for choice and quality.
That lines me up nicely for the one place near Bradford I would have liked to have found time to visit - the Idle Working Men's Club - not just club name of the year, but club name of any year!

Now thats what I call an auction !!
Lets have some guesses on the final sale price - I'll go for £3.25
