I am a salmon !!
I'll be at the Grey Horse in Kingston with 2 lovely ladies and one of my favourite local bands, oh and a clutching a few pints of course!
Having just got back home from a very wet few days boating, mud everywhere ,after a necessary clean up,it will be a night on the red wine with feet up avoiding pub mahem.
"Good people drink good beer" Hunter S Thompson
We will be avoiding pub mayhem too. A few bottles of beer for starters, a bottle of malt opened for midnight, and a bottle of La Chouffe coffee liqueur to be opened should see us through ok.
Happy New Year one and all.
Alcohol doesn't solve problems .... but then again, neither does milk.
Given how much I loathe New Year's Eve, I'm pleased to be have dodged it this year (pay to get into a crowded pub? and you expect me to jolly as well?). Anyway, the Christmas Hophead is not quite done yet. When it is, there's a 750ml bottle of Meantime IPA in the fridge, which I'm looking forward to. Some Kernel, too. And all that will make me much cheerier than a walk in the rain .
Keeping breweries in business for more than 40() years
We shall be off to The Baum soon, then a vist to our local tapas bar La Mancha.
Then back to The Baum for midnight. It's usually only the regulars by then.
Happy New Year everyone.
A pub is for life not just for Christmas
