I have set my target again at 150 ( deep down I intend to beat this years 159 ! )

A great day out in Stoke on Trent yesterday netted me 21 new pubs,i went in every open pub that i saw and only 3 were on keg.

Hopefully more trips to Stoke in the near future.

That's a very good kick off to the new year.Stoke is also one of the least reviewed cities on Pubsgalore,so you are adding to the sum of human knowledge

I'm going to set myself a target of having 1100 pubs reviewed by the end of the year. So 122 pubs to go.

In theory that shouldn't be too difficult a target to meet, but as my current score of new pubs this year stands at a mighty 2.......................

I hope to get my review total up to 800 in 2013,but I still have this very bad habit of going in the same pub when I know it's ale will be spot on.

However in the first half of the year I will be helped by the PuG tour of Leicester and boating trips to Burslem,Leek(which looks like a top drinking town),Middlewich,Nantwich,Chester,Whitchurch,Elles mere (not Port),Chirk and Llangollen.That all seems a long way to go when iced up near Tring at present.

Well I managed to add another 4 this weekend on a short trip to Harrogate, so I'm now on a whole 6!!

6 new pubs to me done today in the Nottingham area,3 keg bars 2 real ale bars and a micro pub,this brings my new pubs done up to 27.

I had a good walk round Fenton and Longton in Stoke on Trent yesterday,this netted me 21 pubs i had never been in before,this brings my new pubs for the year up to 48.

It's all been a bit slow for me,but managed to clock up 30 new ones so far this year.Ticked off quite a few around Tring and Leighton Buzzard,now chugging towards Leicester,although the PuG crawl will arrive before the boat makes an appearance there.
