Default Another Black Country crawl SAT 17th NOV all welcome

Bit short notice, but if anyone wants to come along PM me. Any "Bristolian" types who want to come along it's 1000 from Temple Meads, change at New Street, needs to be booked soon for £20.50. I will arrange a £5 ticket back, I'll be finishing at Stourbridge, 6 pubs is enough........

After my first visit to the Black Country on the PG meet up in October, I envy you guys on your trip tomorrow. Will definitely have to make a note of this for next year

There are a couple of places listed there, The Plough and Harrow, The Queen's Head and the Wall Heath Tavern (which I coincidentally drove past today), that are on my to-do list.

I like the Duke William in Stourbridge. I only stayed for one pint but I could have comfortably stayed longer if it wasn't for Richard turning up in his minibus to take us off on a crawl.

Let us know how you get on and I'll look forward to reading your reviews.

An excellent day,I expired after 10 pints in 5 hours (!) and got a train back to Worcester but here's what someone else managed............

Waggon & Horses, Oldbury – 3 pints of Salopian Shropshire Gold
Windsor Castle, Lye – 3 very hop filled pints of Sadlers JPA
Somers Sports & Social, Halesowen – 1 pint of Holdens Bitter and 1 pint of Bathams Mild
Duke William, Stourbridge – 1 pint of Craddocks Saxon Gold (perhaps the worst pint of the day but by no means bad – if just had some tough competition!)
Royal Exchange, Stourbridge – 1 pint of Bathams Mild
New Inn, Wordsley – 2 pints of Bathams Mild (best mild of the day)
Queens Head, Wordsley – 1 pint of Enville Ginger
Wall Heath Tavern – 1 pint of Enville Ginger (I think)
Courthouse, Dudley – 2 pints of something nice n hoppy but I don’t recall what it was!

And a quick pint of Three Tuns XXX Pale back home! And a quick pint of Three Tuns XXX Pale back home!
