Until last year I was using the 'See more nearby pubs' function to plan visits, which was a really good facility we do't have on here - well, not as slick. What I like is the fact that it gives you a list of pubs in distance order, though i then needed to cross-check with here for the proximity and grouping. But now it's so out of date I spend more time deleting pubs from the list than I do visiting. Also, the search-by-post code function is highly unreliable. It just doesn't work properly.

Lists in distance order from a station is/was another handy feature.

I used to use the nearby pub function a lot back in the day an found it extremely useful, but the interactive map on PuG I find superior nowadays with the bonus of more reliable reviews to back it up.

That's what I used to use it for a fair while after I migrated over here, but the data is now so bad it's next to useless outside of London.

A quick look at 'recently added pubs' has the Paul Pry as a new discovery. Despite it having reviews going back to 2004. More work needed, it seems.

It's still showing as registered in Gloucestershire. Which makes me suspect it's still run by Chris from his mum's loft conversion; but I do wonder how he makes the money to pay for the hosting cost and wotnot.

I got a "Want in on our relaunch?" pop-up message when I tried BITE just now?

Yes. Me too around a week ago, not that I'd mourn its passing.

10 posts in 4 months suggests it's a long been a zombie site. Someone must still be paying hosting fees, heaven knows why.
