North Scotland
Planning a counter-clockwise tour of Scotland in November, mainly via Aberdeen, Inverness, Aviemore and then Glasgow. Any particular places to look out for or beer towns to stop at?

A few miles outside of Inverness there's the Dores Inn, which has four hand pumps and is worth the trip out (I believe there is a regular bus service, though I was on my bike), and I can strongly recommend the Benleva at Drumnadrochit, where the Loch Ness brewery is run by a real enthusiast.
In Inverness itself, the Clachnaharry Inn is a shadow of its former self, and I am reliably informed this is because the previous landlord now runs The Castle Tavern, which is well worth a visit.
In Fort William, at the other end of the Great Glen, the The Grog & Gruel is not to be missed. In Glen Coe, the Clachaig Inn is in the same ownership - and if you go there you can be the first to write a review.
When I was in Pitlochry a few years ago, The Old Mill Inn & Restaurant was very good - this was before I started writing reviews, so you can get another first here too.
Enjoy!

Thanks for all that. Itinerary being put together shortly!

One other pub near Inverness is The Anderson on the Black Isle, you can also go round the Black Isle Brewery on the way there.
In Glasgow the Babbity Bowster, and Blackfriars in the Merchant City and Bon Accord and Pot Still further West are usual suspects. Beers from the Clockwork Beer Co in Cartcart are meant to be worth seeking out.
