Reckon GIB could be a potential destination for the Beesley boys then.
I remember going up the Rock by road a few years ago in a minibus. Frightened the living daylights out of me. The road was precarious to put it mildly. Regretted not going by cable car afterwards but chose the road because of my fear of heights. Big mistake !
Have enjoyed reading of your expolits and it has whetted my appetite to visit myself when I can. Your reviews will come in very useful for when I make it there.

I did think about the Beesleys when I saw it. Don't think i could put up with their moaning about the beer selection in every pub but we could sort out a trip at some stage. Waiting for the flight home there's a nice air conditioned VIP lounge with free WiFi to relax in.

A belated update just to let you all know that I have arrived safely back on the mainland. The flight was fairly uneventful, I didn't manage to get a window seat but the young baby in the row in front was less troublesome that I thought it might be.

Need to update my location and find myself another avatar now. I'm on a crawl around the Old Street area later with Grailhunter but hope to start the Gibraltar Pub Review thread before I leave.

Thanks to all those who have followed the blog and left comments. It's had over 2,000 hits and it's been fun chatting to those who have left comments.

I have no major trips planned for the future as yet, but Vegas is never far from my mind. Just need to find the money.
