I agree with Mr Fastard on The Top Lock which has an excellent range of ales but it's just been pipped by The Jolly Sailors for doing what it does so well.

My nomination for July is the Brewers Pride in Ossett. Tucked away at the bottom of a long residential street, it really is out on a limb. However, it has a cosy traditional interior, nine hand pumps and cracking pub food. A line permanently dedicated to Oakham beers, is the icing on the cake.
