Loosely based on William Blakes Cantebury Tales, http://www.canterbury-ales.co.uk/gallery I think they are rather fun. Unfortunately the link on their page doesn't work.

Homebrew Christmas Ale, rich, deep flavour with a nice bit of spice
The Last Drop Pale Ale, from Old Dairy Brewery, being the last beer produced at their original site on a farm at Rolvenden, before the move to their new brewery by the preserved Tenterden railway Station (Kent and East Sussex Rly). 5.8%abv in bottle form-I think it was available in cask at one of the Rolvenden pubs, but I missed it.Well hopped with Challenger, East Kent Goldings and a couple of unfamiliar (new world?) cultivars . Rather moreish, but limited availability, though I'd be pleased to be able to buy some more tomorrow.

At Wittenden Acres, on Christmas Eve, it is customary for me to cook venison medallions, while the rest of the family do other things, like watching Love Actually. This is a good excuse for me to drink The Canterbury Ales Green Hop Ale with East Kent Goldings. What could be better. Now and in England.

Sarah Hughes Dark Ruby Mild in the Bridge End, Ruabon (along with 3 other dark Christmas ales).
As well as "What are you drinking ......................", it might be interesting to add "Where I am drinking it right now".
The person drinking it might be stood next to you at the bar without you knowing it! Or maybe at the pub across the road!
Had a real mixture today.
Been entertaining so not been to the pub at all. Had a few vintage ciders, a bottle of red wine and a few real ales ( Hobgoblin, Burns ale, Old thumper, Spitfire and a couple of others ) Going for a Gin and Tonic next
Life aint that bad at all !!!
