That was Mm's review, not mine.
I did visit last Wed tho, when they had an Old Dairy IPA re-badged as Murder of Crows, and Copper Top, two unclipped. My experience wasn't as bad as Steve's, but the beer lacked life & the pub lacked character so i won't be rushing back either. Appreciated the Old Dairy guide though LC, thanks.
Just drank a Badger-Golden Glory an old fav of mine but it comes in a clear glass bottle and was skunked.Never buying a beer in a clear bottle again.
Since 5 o’clock this afternoon I’ve been drinking a new Fuller’s brew called Griffin’s Despair. It’s made from hopeful hops that have been had their hearts cut out before being nailed to Craven Cottage by a pig’s foot for a week of sweating. They are then taken to a town twinned with Disney land for some pep before a trip back home for some firming up. Then they are mashed with the heat of a damp squib so that an unforgettable sour taste is reminiscent for years to come. Oh joy of joys!!!
