Would you believe it? Found a Scottish pub and an Irish pub in Marianske Lazne. Beer here is fantastic! Enjoyed so far Gambrinus, Chodovar - light and dark. Kozel - dark. Staropramen - light and dark.
Exactly, right now, at 2:37 local time,I am sitting in Tipsport bar in Marianske Lazne, Czech Rep. watching QPR v Spurs. Slowly getting merry on wonderful Czech beer. At the moment on Master. The Master line offers three types of beers: the Master Gold 15º, Master Semi-Dark 12º and Master Dark 18º. All beers are made from three or more malts, along with the highly-regarded and locally-grown Saaz hops, so as to create three distinct brews.
I remember a Tipsport place in Prague, a cross between a bookmakers and a bar with a giant electronic roulette wheel. Along with live sport on TV what more could you want. Well if you did want more there were a couple of 'Gentlemens' dancing emporiums just up the road ;-)
I've just joined Alcoholics Anonymous - I still drink, just under a different name.
Jennings Snecklifter has always been one of my favourite beers but I've often been disappointed with the quality. This is first class though and I think two may become three.

Hunters Pheasant Plucker, which has to be ordered with care ;-)

To celebrate Burns night - and I am not Scottish - I am drinking a bottle of Burns Ale brewed by Shepherd Neame. Smooth, rich and biscuity chestnut brown ale. With a whisky chaser, of course!
Banks's Fine Fettle. 4.8% Fine Golden Amber Ale.
