Reality check after the Boxing Day cold cuts and ends of half drunk bottles of red: Old Dairy Hop Top Double IPA, to be followed by hot cooking whisky and honey, to knock this poxy cold on the head.

Banks's Fine Fettle , an early taste of what I think is their January seasonal ale.
I've just joined Alcoholics Anonymous - I still drink, just under a different name.

And would normally keep very quiet about drinking anything from Greedy King,

Kernel IPA (7.3 %), hopped with Stella and Cascade. Nice, but I prefer the Table Ale at half the strength.

Happy New Year folks. I am usually drinking coffee when this thread comes up, but we are enjoying a wee dram or two of Old Pulteney at the moment, and it's going down a treat. Have fun whatever you are doing wherever you are.

Having taken an age to peel a kilo of red prawns, to use the shells in a stock for pasta sauce, that bottle of Saltaire Cascade Pale Ale is tasting soooo good.

I am in the spa town of Marianske Lazne Czech Rep. at the moment and am drinking a fine dark brew from Chodovar. Apparently they have been brewing in the area since 1573!

Visited Winston Churchill pub on their high street!
