Tracked down the excellent Larkins Porter in the Ragged Trousers, Tunbridge Wells - just the job!

More Stonehouse! between trains in the Chain Bridge Hotel (waiting for the buffet car train to come back).

I'm not out tonight so I'm working my way through this lot,

most of the back row plus the Wychwood Imperial Red are done now (it was a raffle prize), currently finishing the Taddy Porter with Hacker Pschorr Oktoberfest next then the religious stuff - well it is Sunday. The lurkers at the back are York Guzzler and Saltaire Triple Chocoholic.

Hopefully it will last till midnight but there's a bottle of Laphroaig on standby just in case.

Happy New Year folks. After watching Wycombe at Forest Green and given the proximity, thought I'd drop into the much-lauded Salutation at Ham. Great service, friendly locals and a belting pint of Redemption Fellowship Porter. I've been in better pubs than this, but this is a gem and well worth a visit.

Adnams Broadside, 6.3% in a bottle, at home.
It really is a lovely late evening beer and, often available at £1.50, top abv (alcohol-by-value!)

Rudgate Bitter Sweet at Monks Inn Hemel Hempstead. Just to prove that Rudgate do beers other than the excellent Ruby Mild. It's quite tart, but a nice beer to drink after a couple of dark ones.
I've just joined Alcoholics Anonymous - I still drink, just under a different name.

Drinking Bathams Bitter in the Station Hotel at the Oakengates Golden Triangle.
One of my favourite beers in a definite one of my top 10 pubs.
I need a bit of pleasure before watching Telford thrash us again!
    EDIT: We won 1-3
