Oxfordshire Ales Vanilla Porter. Gorgeous stuff, I can see this being my BoTW although there are 9 other pumps here (Blacksmiths Arms St Albans) so I'll reserve judgement just in case. I can see the next one being a pint of the same though.

Just opened a bottle of Orkiszowe z Miodem 5.1%, its a Polish Wheat Beer infused with Honey , better than it sounds , i quite like it , bit like a continental style Enville Ale .
Only got one bottle a good friend of mine is an English teacher in the town they brew it and brought it for me to try on a recent visit home , better than the Black Balsam he got me last time , evil stuff like cough medicine , black treacle and cheap vodka mixed up

Just started a bottle of Adnams Ghost Ship, Not a great fan of Adnams but this is ok,nothing special and nowhere near as good as the Darkstar Kiwi I was drinking down the local an hour ago.

My last (for the moment) bottle of Old Dairy's Hop Top, preceded by a bottle of Canterbury Brewers' Foundry Torpedo.

Not had much recently as I've been ill. Still am really but you have to get back in the saddle at some point. So i left work early and am enjoying a very pleasant pint of Mauldons Octoberfest. It may not be the last !

Just discovered a brand new Oakham Ales beer for me. It's called Black Baron and is 8.8% worth of dark complexity. Good beer but definitely a sipping beer.

Must be some sort of Oakham appreciation thing going on in St Albans . Just switched pubs and found Syreni and Vagabond. A half of each seemed a good idea and both are good. Cannot recall finding an Oakham beer i didn't like.
