I'm in an unfamiliar pub and, looking at what others are drinking, not sure i want to trust the ale. Then I spot bottles of Theakston Old Peculier in the fridge. That'll do for me

No it was the Oddfellows Arms in Apsley but I see we had a similar experience. I always think it's worth a look in the fridges to see what might be lurking.

Just come on at the Doric Arch, from Castle Rock, Major Laurence Arthur Rook Nottingham Celebration Ale, which is easier to order than tl type !! A little bland but not unpleasant.

Just about to sit in my garden with an ice cold Erdinger after a 7.5 mile country hike.

Saltaire Hazelnut Coffee Porter. An interesting and quite complex beer and at 4.6% has a bit of a punch. An early marker for BotW as i won't remember by the weekend !!

Right now I'm drinking a pint of Curious Brew, which I guess May be familiar to any Men of Kent or Kentish Men.

Sounds a bit Kentish to me but fair play, after making a pig of myself drinking Darkstar Hophead all afternoon ,I am now reduced to mugs of coffee.
