A bottle of St Bernardus Prior after some bottles of Saltaire, Ilkley and Acorn. Hopefully I can get a couple of very old 4 pint containers filled up at a local micro pub next week and not need to rely on bottles or cans. I have two boxes coming from Beer Hawk and will probably get another box from Roosters for next weekend. Roosters Brewery is open for off sales of small pack and "growlers" as well as doing mail orders, Turning Point is open for off sales but no mail order.

3 2/3 pints of Shadow Brewing Ombra, collected on cask from a local bar, I would name names as the bugger short measured me - it should have been 4 pints. Still at £2 a pint and he's now closed down I'm not complaining (much). Tomorrow's beer should be some Taylors from a local pub who are giving it away although donations are welcome.

Just to bump this thread and to show some of us are doing our bit for an industry on its knees and being kicked by politicians desperate to be seen to be acting and neo-pro bastards and Scottish Calvinists, health facists etc, I’m enjoying a fourth pint of Hambleton Nightmare Porter, probably the only decent beer the “self-effacing” Nick Stafford’s Hambleton Ales produces - nice.

The Larkin's excellent Porter, one of the full range of this small Kent brewery's five beers, seen and tasted together for the first time here: Orpington Liberal Club.

NB - This producer is almost unique in modern Britain in that it grows its own hops, and its green-hopped Best was a highlight earlier on.

Already taken care of a Trooper and a Hobgoblin Gold. I have an array of pale ales and IPA's to have a go at.
First up is Evil Twin brewery - More or Less Evil hazy pale ale. Very hoppy and citrusy. 5%.
