Quiet week this week , not helped by four of the Stations guest beers running out just as i walk in

    Hobsons - Twisted Spire
    Salopian - Darwins Origin
    Purple Moose - Revelation Ale
    Purple Moose - Glaslyn
    Theakstons - Double Cross IPA
    Blakemere - Gold
    Ironbridge - Citra

BOTW Hobsons - Twisted Spire , only 3.6% but full of flavour , just right for these warm evenings

A varied week but not of the highest quality.
    Brentwood Porter
    Copthorne Finest Hour
    Batemans XXXB
    Butcombe Mendip Spring
    Deuchars IPA
    Shepherd Neame Spitfire
    Everards Tiger
    TT Landlord
    Oakham Bishops Farewell

A fair number of regionals and nationals there, Lincolnshire doesn't appear to offer a wide range of choice. Nonethless, the Tiger and TT Landlord were both good and, as ever, the Bishops was exceptional. BOTW TT Landlord.

I had the good fortune to be on the PuG crawl around Carshalton and there were some excellent beers on at The Hope festival.BOTW was Redwillow Smokeless,a very fine strong stout.

The Nags has been on form this week and there are a number of beers that would walk BOTW on a quieter week.

Highlights - Dark Star APA, Titanic Mild and Windsor & Eton Kohinoor.

Winner is Windsor & Eton Kohinoor. Absolutely stunning beer and you should all drink as much of it as possible. It's a Jubilee beer so may not around for long.

Hopback Crop Circle, Spring Zing and GFB
    Shepherd Neame Whitstable Bay
    Nichloson's (St. Austell) Pale Ale
GK London Glory and St. Edmunds
    St. Austell Tribute
    Sharps Doombar
    Ringwood Best and 49er
    Wadworth 6X
    Dorset Brewing Co Jurassic
    Otter
Palmers Dorset Gold and Copper Ale
    Badger Hopping Hare and Tanglefoot

Don't think I've ever had such a long list of largely mediocre ales, though I guess that's what a few days in Dorset can do for you. The Ringwood 49er best floated my boat, in the Sailors Return in Chaldon Herring, although the Otter and Jurassic have seemed to be on quite good form as well

Not bad by my standards:two visits-one planned, one impromptu.

Mighty Oak: Captain Bob-Very flavoursome mid brown session bitter:great East Anglian malt, tempered by esoteric hops:seaweed and gooseberries.Grand stuff.
Old Dairy: Red Top-a great example of a proper earthy English Bitter.
Harveys:Knots of May light MILD. Alas not at its best, getting towards the end of the barrel.
Larkins:Traditional.A light mild, a boy's bitter, who knows? So much flavour for such a modest ABV. My favourite session beer.
    My BOTW-Mighty Oak-Captain Bob
