Should be a hefty week this one, with a few in Leeds tomorrow to be followed by Derby and a Birmingham crawl Friday, Swindon Saturday, and London Sunday. The main thing will be remembering them all

First good one before I forget, Marble-Draft in the Fox and Newt. Went down brilliantly with the piri piri chicken

    I don't think I've ever had a beer I didn't like from Marble, I just don't see enough of it. I'm envious.

    Not a bad week:
    Oakham Bishops Farewell
    Great Oakley Fly the Flag
    Hop Back Summer Lightening
    Holdens Golden Glow
    Jennings Snecklifter
    Pedigree
    Bass
    Leatherbritches Coopers and Bounder
    Full Mash Warlord
    Beowulf Gold Work
    Blue Monkey 99 Red Baboons

Some excellent ale in there and one or two new breweries for me. Of note were the Leatherbritches Coopers in The Coopers Arms, Weston, Bass in The Coopers Tavern, Burton and the ever excellent Summer Lightening here. BOTW though was Blue Monkey 99 Red Baboons, in The Crown, Beeston, which having tried a number of other ales really stood out as quality.

Sadly brought back only as a special for April but showing Roosters is in safe hands, BOTW is Roosters Leghorn

Their Ginger was a touch astringent but yes I agree they really do have a good batch going on.

Additions, if I remember them, follow.

    Everards - Sunchaser
erm....I had several others but nowt otherwise memorable so I will have to go with the Everards-Sunchaserd which 4 of us all enjoyed in the Square Peg in Birmingham.

There was a Thornbridge-Kipling and a Magic Rock-High Wire in York too but not memorable enough.
