I have been listening to Virgin radio then Absolute since its conception and i am listening to it whie typeing this,but to advise people to listen to that load of CRAP well i am now lost for words,the radio was switched off after 15 minutes of this bilge.
Give me the Olympics any day over elvis crooning a load of rubbish.
To be honest I was disappointed with it, Ronnie Wood seems to have a fixation with Jimmy Reed, someone who I have only vaguely heard of and as for Macca's Fred Astaire choice (it actually got worse than Elvis!) that really was the pits.
As for watching the Olympics instead, er probably not.
I think that Absolute Radio was much better as Virgin, the breakfast show nowadays is pathetic, all inane chat and 80s pop.
I think all breakfast shows nowdays are inane crap,having said that, remember the hairy cornflake,maybe they've always been rubbish.
