Just found an Olympics offering from Adnams called Flame Runner. Not a great beer, 3.9% worth of blandness in my opinion.

I had a Pint of that Flame Runner last night in the spoons it tasted like someone had left there sweaty trainers in it. Yuk

It's so they can fit all of the fixtures in before the end of the Games. They did the same thing at the last Olympic Games - women's football kicks off two days before the opening ceremony, men's football kicks off one day before the opening ceremony.

I will be glad when this fiasco is over it took me over four sodding hours this morning to get from Tilbury Docks to Hammersmith Rail Depot because of the road closures and restrictions put in place for this crap a journey of around 35 Miles.
