Well after the Liverpool jaunt, surely this month will throw up a few candidates.

A pub is for life not just for Christmas
Sneaking this one in from a random pub crawl on the last weekend in february. The Duchess of Cambridge 6 real ales on tap and 9 on gravity plus 9 ciders. Welsh breweries were featured to coincide with the six nations rugby taking place that weekend. Located just along from Stamford Brook underground station. Well worth a visit

"Do I know where hell is? hell is in hello"
Lots of good pubs in Liverpool. Enjoyed the White Lion, Vernon and Fly in the Loaf. In Leicester this weekend where the Salmon is a good contender for the title. York tomorrow, and then Durham. Will have to see how things go. Think the Salmon has it so far.
Alcohol doesn't solve problems .... but then again, neither does milk.

Thanks for that Gill, I aim to revisit Leicester as soon as I can get cheapy cheap tickets; the Salmon will be a new one (to me) for my list.
The Salmon (19 Butt Close Lane) has gone into the 2012 Good Beer Guide, and deserves the place. Longstop (9 Church Gate) is not far from it either. They are both up from the central Clock Tower. Longstop had the new Mad Mushroom brewery and a couple of Julian Church beers plus a variety of other micros when we had a few visits this weekend while at the festival.
In York for a week from today, so should get to a few of the good pubs there. Last visit was only 3 days and we didn't get far from York Tap!!

Two pubs in Chester from me - Brewery Tap and Old Harkers Arms..
