    Default Britain's Hidden Alcoholics

A Panorama special at 8:30 tonight but i dont think I'll bother. I'll probably stay here, have a few more pints and try to get home for A Question of Sport
I've just joined Alcoholics Anonymous - I still drink, just under a different name.

Hiding in full view eh? An SAS tactic I believe.
A pub is for life not just for Christmas

I was going to watch it but was too busy brewing in my shed.

What is a 'hidden alcoholic'? I've certainly never seen one.

Must be hiding in his shed.......
Alcohol doesn't solve problems .... but then again, neither does milk.

Thought it was tactical that brewers needed sheds to hide in to escape chores.

    No inuendos intended..

    Ho HO

I watched the programme, the point was made that not all alcoholics are those that may be seen drinking White Lightning & Special Brew on a park bench, or the weekend horrors in a city centre

The hidden ones may be your GP, solicitor, kid's teacher or just plain old fully functioning middle class worker, drinking two bottles of wine, at home, nightly

The sort in fact that a rise in booze duty will not deter because they can afford it, like Alistair Campbell or Ann Robinson who admit they are recovering alcoholics
I drink to make others more interesting
