Or even get a decent image without the lovely Pubs...
I'm getting 'Evil Mickey Mouse Zombie has Brainwave"......
Good work OT. I shall research some of those names to see if any eye-catching Heraldry jumps off the page. Oddly, what with all the talk of name changing, this pub was actually called 'The Half Moon'...
I don't think I have the power to simply change the pubs name when i cant think of a design!!...sadly!
Still no sign of a Lord Badminton and I assume as Sellers used it as a lampoon the title cannot...

Cheers for the link and ideas Chaps, am sifting through as we speak...although trying to ascertain what someone who worked in the 'Armoury Section' would wear is proving a bugger! Would they be in...
'The Armoury' is a good old fashioned boozer in Yeovil... and guess what? They need a new Pictorial Sign. Regards subject matter nothing exciting really springs to mind so I thought I'd pick the...
Just an update for all those who kindly offered advice/links etc.
I finished the sign a while back but only just received this photo from the Thatcher's people....
Might just be me and but I clearly see the head of a Lion passant guardant, a frequently used charge in heraldry!!! The green 'rosette' could easily be its mane of hair!!
As in [sings] "Three...
