OK, I can easily skip the 'Spoons, especially as there's a fair chance I'll be on the later train. But if there's one thing I can't stand, it's a pub that prices its beers in 2/3rds of a pint. Is it...

Arriving 12:14, or if I miss my connection at Birmingham, 12:40. Departing 19:39. Two and three-quarter hours each way! I'm sure the company will be top notch, hope the pubs are too!

Actually, there's nothing to stop you organising a poll and getting the majority of people to support the "not the 2nd" option. That will make it easier for me to decide not to come....

I'd normally go for a Friday (and would prefer the 22nd to the 15th), but I've just had a quick look at train fares. Saturday 2nd is quite substantially cheaper - there may be more favourable options...
