I lived next door to that (Adelphi as my local) for 3-4 years and this is the first I've heard about the whole development!
When I visited I thought it wasn't even the best pub in Tamworth/Staffordshire (can't remember which).
It's in Preston. I'm really looking forward to the Butter Pie although that pushes it up to £59! And of course the wine pairing...

I have a longstanding dislike of pubs in December. The family are going for a Tasting Menu at £45/head which might sound extravagant but is likely less than I spend in pubs in an average month.

I think most pubs will be choosing between April 2020 hours or micropub hours this winter, thanks to Net Zero and the sanctions we imposed on ourself in the last six months.
Tim's usually pretty astute when it comes to business, so it'll be interesting to see what he does in response.

Given the dirtiness of most pub patrons, and how cash gets exchanged, I dread to think how many bugs get transferred by the bar staff putting a straw in your drink...! Never had a beer from a straw...
