I'd recommend all of the pubs on your list. A particular favourite of ours was Bon Accord, as well as very good beer the food was also excellent.

Mrs Ale here- I totally agree. If there's a choice between kids and dogs in pubs, the dogs win every time...
If the two of you decide to meet up for a beer, please check the opening times before you leave the house :D

Mrs Ale here! I love seeing dogs in pubs, as long as they're well behaved. A cat is always a bonus too, but I'm a massive animal lover anyway...
