I was in BOX in Manchester a couple of weeks ago. It's a box. Sports bar with 2 shuffleboards, but no real ale.
It's not in the top 5 pubs on Deansgate nevermind Greater Manchester.

13 for me, must tick the other 2 on my next visit.
Total crap, I doubt she's ever been in any of them.
She certainly hasn't been in Mist anytime recently as it's now an Irish bar called McGintys. It was going very crap before then as well.
35 for me and whatever this dipshit says Bombay Brew is NOT a pub, it's a restaurant.
Best of luck getting a beer on Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday when it's shut or Friday or Saturday when it's...
I'm a completist several times over as I've visited all these more than once, some numerous times.
4 for me. Flask, Olde Salutation, Golden Fleece & Cooperage.
Surprised to find that I've been in 8. It helps if you've been to Belfast|!
Still disagree with several though!
37 for me, but how can the long closed Jolly Angler still be on the list?
Only 8 and I lived and worked there for 16 months.
Mind you a couple on the list didn't exist then.
12 for me:cheers:
Tell us when you're coming BF and we'll arrange a meet up somewhere.
See bumped review appreciation thread. You can choose a top 10/20 if you wish.
Just the Shakespeare on the PuG crawl around Leicester.
Pretty sure you were on that crawl Moby, so maybe you've been in two?
I certainly wouldn't put The Pear Tree in ANY list of good pubs, never mind the metropolis that is Edinburgh. It's corporate and generic. :(
Agree with Kelly's Cellars and Duke of York in Belfast...
I still have The Canny Mans Xmas message from 1996 or 1997 neatly folded away in a box somewhere.
It's very funny and basically tells you why you won't be getting served over the Xmas holidays...
11 for me. The London ones were all 10+ years ago.
Only the Lord Clyde for me. :(
5, not bad for a Northerner who doesn't like Sam's beer. :p
Of course. The house beer is brewed for them by Vocation.
It's Bread & Butter but dry hopped in the cask with a different hop.
Called in on Saturday with Ms CAMRA just for a beer as well....
24 for me. I must be going gastro.
Haven't eaten at Bombay Brew since Thursday.
Surprisingly 6/10 for me
Just the two I'm pleased to say.
Just the two, George (many times) plus the Crown in Belfast (several times)
None of these is anywhere close to being in the best 10 pubs in Edinburgh and I lived there!
All 15 for me as you would expect.
The Molly House is in the Gay Village and is of course very gay friendly, which is likely to affect its chances of getting votes, but it's a very good pub.
