I'm also there the night before, but having already done the likes of Pave & Larkin's Bar
I think I'll visit a few of the pubs & bars in the city that Ms CAMRA refuses to enter.

I'd probably put Wm Hawkes & Walters before visiting the Three John Scotts on the crawl, but who cares. :cheers:
Excellent, plenty to do in the area.
The Deep is definitely worth a look, although not cheap.

Booked into the Premier Inn where we've stayed several times before.
Opposite end of the city to the station, but close to the best pubs and currently £35 per night.

Anyway, Oxford is leading at the moment, so the North / South bias rears its head yet again.:mad:
Been to all of them and done just about every pub worth doing in them all.
Other Northern places are available e.g. Newcastle, Durham, Chester, Huddersfield (now there's a proper beer town).
