That's a good idea ,a Part II will help as I'm in the same boat having never visited Preston before.Besides the three you mention ,I would also like to try Plau,Vinyl Tap,Moorbrook and Princess Alice...

That's a very good short cut from the Old Vic ,I often find the quoted walking times are conservative. It also sounds like the first 5 pubs are now sorted and that route will allow any late arrivals...

Given that people are coming from all over the country,I would imagine that a midday start is most likely,no doubt at a pub near the station.We probably need to start thinking about a route so that...
